(Roanoke Rapids, NC) — Southern Corrosion’s Sales and Operations staff have completed a North Carolina Rural Water Association comprehensive water distribution course. The course was designed to provide staff with a thorough understanding of water system operation and maintenance. The curriculum focused on the dynamics and procedures of taking a tank offline, and included topics on water sources and treatment. The rules that govern water systems were also discussed.
Southern Corrosion President Jim Skilton said the training was customized to fit their needs. “We pride ourselves in looking at tank maintenance from our customer’s point of view. The information that we learned complements the existing expertise of our staff by showing them the steps that our customers go through before, during, and after we arrive on the site to paint or complete maintenance program tasks. We understand the big picture of how proper tank maintenance impacts other issues and regulations that come into play for tank operators.”
