(Roanoke Rapids, NC) Southern Corrosion Incorporated announces the addition of water systems expert Michael Douglas to its team. As a Civil Engineer, Douglas brings more than 25 years of experience with public water supply systems and drinking water regulation. He will assist with the company’s Engineered Tank Care™ water tank maintenance programs for municipal water tanks.

Douglas’ prior experience includes overseeing more than 600 water systems in 16 counties for the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources. He currently teaches certification classes for the North Carolina Rural Water Association. Douglas is a North Carolina and Virginia certified Professional Engineer and a North Carolina State University graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
